Hospital Accreditation Sibley Memorial Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is licensed by the District of Columbia Department of Health and Human Services. Mammography Units Sibley Hospital's mammography services are certified by the American College of Radiology Mammography Accreditation Program and the Food & Drug Administration. Mammograms are administered by women who are registered radiological technologists with advanced certification in mammography. Mammography films are studied and interpreted by Sibley radiologists who are board certified by the American College of Radiology. Oncology Program Sibley Hospital's Oncology Program is accredited as a Community Hospital Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Pathology Department Sibley Hospital's Pathology Department is accredited by the College of American Pathologists. In addition our Blood Bank is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks and registered with the Food and Drug Administration. Sleep Center Sibley Hospital's Sleep Center is accredited by the American Sleep Disorders Association. |
