Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking an experienced Real Estate, Design & Construction Project Manager for all current and new offices. This person would be responsible for planning and delivering workspace projects, instrumental in day-to-day operations, and ultimately building of repeatable and sustainable processes and systems. Projects will vary in depth and breadth and will include but not limited to collaboration with Firm Leadership and other departments to select, design, construct, furnish and relocate workspace. You must be comfortable leveraging technology in a fast paced, self-directing environment to deliver innovative workspaces, as well as traveling a lot for the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and coordinate 3,000 to 70,000 sq. ft. office renovation of workspace including vacating of prior space
Develop, update, and manage construction document standards
Create, update and oversee models to analyze workspace options, schedules and financials of a given project
Coordinate the order, delivery and set up new furniture for an office expansion
Update details to the Building Standards Library as new selections/designs are created
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with concentration in construction, architecture, design or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 + years of experience in commercial real estate construction, architecture or design
Proficient with AutoCAD, Project, Word, Excel
Self-starter; comfortable with minimal direction, able to effectively multi-task
Great organization and communication skills; ability to operate in a dynamic and challenging environment
Strong presentation skills using technological mediums
Experience in project management is required
Confidence to maintain the status quo with researched options and solutions
Able to read and review construction documents
To perform this job successfully the candidate must be attentive to details while focusing on any larger business goal.
Excellent client service is expected.
Significant travel is required
