Responsibilities & Duties:

* Report to the Deputy Program Manager and perform tasks as required by the management.

* Instructor System Designer with Level I or Level II expertise

* Apply instructional design skills and expertise to perform revision and maintenance (R&M) of existing courseware by taking instructor's observations and updating existing Word documents and Power Point presentations.

* Confer with subject matter experts (SMEs), primarily one-on-one, to analyze task for training, revision of related learning objectives, and analyze requirements for instructor-led courseware and varied training media including Interactive Courseware (ICW).

* Validate and create test items IAW USG agreement with FMS customers

* Offer feedback from critiques of instructor-led murder boards by program management


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Physical ability to walk/stand and sit for extended periods time while working a keyboard, mouse and computer screen
  • The ability to lift and carry 25 pounds is required.
  • Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress or if required to work on-site.
  • A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years' experience (a Degree in Education with emphasis on training and certification in adult education or systems design is desired).
  • Microsoft (MS) Office Specialist (MOS) Certification in MS Word and a thorough working knowledge of MS Power Point is required with a minimum of two years' experience in R&M.
  • Expertise with editing MS Word (.docx) converted from Adobe pdf files to create a new documents in cooperation with SME/Instructor
  • Must have a working knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in curriculum and training design
  • Must have a working knowledge of teaching requirements within an instructor-led classroom environment.
  • Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and training requirements to support the procurement of military equipment from USG.
  • E-learning Certificate is desired, but not required
  • Comprehension of USAF Aviation organization, structure, and missions is preferred
  • Knowledge of USAF fighter aircraft pilot and maintenance instruction setting desired
  • Understanding of SharePoint, VPN or SFTP (MFT) utilization desired.
  • Documented/verified experience and education may be substituted for the above requirements if deemed equivalent by the Government
  • Applicant must be a US citizen and able to obtain and hold a SECRET clearance and adhere to security safeguards and directives.
