JOB DESCRIPTION

Precise is seeking an Appian Developer to be part of a team that supports application development and maintenance of a mission critical solution for the federal government. The work can be performed remote.

Support includes evaluating business requirements given by the system end users and business stakeholders, interpreting high-level requirements into design details, and planning concepts using provided information and materials. Activities will include Design, Development, Architecture, Implementation and Support on end-to-end business applications with Appian BPM platform.

Qualified candidates must be USC, GC or EAD and have or can attain a Public Trust clearance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure Appian's Business Process Management Suite to bring efficiency to human centric business processes.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data models based on customer application requirements.
  • Contribute to hands-on development and support, Proof of Concept and demos as needed.
  • Provide expertise in multiple related technologies including Structured Query Language and Appian Complex Data Type configurations.
  • Develop and implement the Appian and web-based applications.
  • Provide technical guidance to other developers as and when required.
  • Draft and/or update documentation including custom use cases, agile user stories, process modeling using Business Process Modeling Notation, etc.
  • Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other COTS products.
  • Experience with estimating and sizing Appian business requirements.
  • Debug issues in Interfaces and Process Models.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified.
  • Experience in Agile, Appian RPA/BPM, Java, API's.
  • Ability to take direction and work with project team.
  • Experience with integrations with external systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Passion for design, attention to detail, and punctuality.
  • Ability to scope Appian Projects.
  • Comfortable in a demanding environment and managing multiple priorities.
