Echelon Services seeks a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will understand machine learning algorithms and their practical applications in software and hardware development.

Essential Functions:

• Collects and analyzes statistics and information from multiple sources to spot trends and gain maximum insight that can give the company a competitive advantage and communicate informed conclusions and recommendations across an organization's leadership structure.
• Strategizes and identifies unique opportunities to locate and collect new data, explores and mines data from many angles, and determines what it means.
• Communicates data findings to both business and IT leaders to influence how an organization approaches and meets the business challenges of an evolving customer base and changing marketplace, using strong business acumen.
• Finds and recommends new uses for existing data sources; designs, modify, and builds new data processes; and builds large, complex data sets.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data analytics, or mathematical discipline. (Or a master's degree and 1 year, a Ph.D. and 0 years)
• Preference for IAT Level II certification
• Public trust clearance
