We are seeking to add multiple Business Intelligence Engineers with SAP and Data engineering experience to our award winning team. The ideal candidate will be local to the DMV and willing to work 50% of the time onsite in New Carrollton.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Complete development efforts across data pipeline to store, manage, store, and provision to data consumers
  • Being an active and collaborating member of an Agile/Scrum team and following all Agile/Scrum best practices
  • Write code to ensure the performance and reliability of data extraction and processing
  • Support continuous process automation for data ingest
  • Achieve technical excellence by advocating for and adhering to lean-agile engineering principles and practices such as API-first design, simple design, continuous integration, version control, and automated testing
  • Work with program management and engineers to implement and document complex and evolving requirements
  • Help cultivate an environment that promotes customer service excellence, innovation, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Collaborate with others as part of a cross-functional team that includes user experience researchers and designers, product managers, engineers, and other functional specialists

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must currently have an MBI clearance
  • Subject Matter Expertise in SAP Business Objects v4.3 or higher.
  • Expertise in Crystal Reports 2016 or higher
  • Tableau v2023 - Tableau Data Management and Server Management
  • Experience with various reporting and visualization techniques
  • Knowledge of JBoss EAP v7 or higher
  • Expert knowledge of Redhat Enterprise Linux v7 and Windows operating systems.
  • SAN/NAS
  • Cloud Infrastructure and Services.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in both SAP Business Intelligence and Tableau Server Operations and Management (not dashboard development nor reports development)
  • Experience in developing and automated distribution of dashboard and report development of client tools to large number (>400) of user's laptops.

Other Beneficial Skills/Knowledge:

  • Experience creating and consuming APIs
  • Experience with IRS and knowledge of IRS standards a plus
  • AWS or Azure Certifications
  • Ability to develop visualizations utilizing Tableau or PowerBI
