DescriptionLinQuest is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our team at our office in El Segundo, CA.This is a summer internship position with the possibility to turn into part time support during the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Develop virtualize software applications supporting USSF space program development
- Interact with users to refine requirements, analyze business requirements, identify potential solutions, design, prototype, develop, test and document implementation
- Log work to track progress
- Work collaboratively with Agile Scrum development team
Required Skills:
- Actively pursuing a degree in technical field, such as engineering, computer science
- Web application development (HTML, CSS, Javascript or Python)
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills, with willingness to learn
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Initiative, and comfortable working with a development team and business users
PreferredSkills:
- Angular
- Database or SQL Server
- Associated technologies (jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, HTML 5, IIS Server, Agile Scrum)
Required Experience:
- Programming experience
- Demonstrative web application development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python)
- Development team experience
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years intern, summer, or applicable project experience
