For the Voith US Inc., Order Management department, we are looking for: Intern - Order Management Appleton, WI Summary - Voith offers internships to college students in a variety of business functions, providing great business experience. Interns are given meaningful projects that contribute to Voith. The Intern - Order Management will learn basics in supply chain management, logistics, scheduling, and will be assigned a dedicated project analyzing existing data to improve in these areas. Responsibilities - Voith interns are exposed to a general overview of our company, customers, and operations.Interns are placed in locations that have a demonstrated track record of leadership development.The Manager of Order Management or other assigned leader serves as the Intern's Mentor and insures that a fast-paced, challenging learning environment is created. The first week of the Internship will be spent in orientation, getting familiar with the business environment, meeting team members, and getting an introduction to the project. The second week of the Internship may be spent building a foundation of knowledge needed for completion of the project, as well as beginning to work more independently. During week three through twelve the Intern will divide time executing and completing the Project, as well as continued development of General Skills. The Intern will be given the opportunity to report Project progress and results in a formal presentation to Management towards the end of the twelve week internship. Gain valuable experience this summer and acquire real experience with a great paid rate. This position is located in Appleton, WI, and some remote working opportunities may be possible.
