Description

LinQuest is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our team at our office in El Segundo, CA.This is a summer internship position with the possibility to turn into part time support during the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop virtualize software applications supporting USSF space program development
  • Interact with users to refine requirements, analyze business requirements, identify potential solutions, design, prototype, develop, test and document implementation
  • Log work to track progress
  • Work collaboratively with Agile Scrum development team

Required Skills:

  • Actively pursuing a degree in technical field, such as engineering, computer science
  • Web application development (HTML, CSS, Javascript or Python)
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills, with willingness to learn
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Initiative, and comfortable working with a development team and business users

PreferredSkills:

  • Angular
  • Database or SQL Server
  • Associated technologies (jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, HTML 5, IIS Server, Agile Scrum)

Required Experience:

  • Programming experience
  • Demonstrative web application development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python)
  • Development team experience
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ years intern, summer, or applicable project experience
