| Position Description Summary: | The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent, non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University (GW), is seeking a full-time academic, noninvasive general cardiologist in the Department of Medicine's Division of Cardiology. This non-tenure track appointment will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) commensurate with experience. |
| Specific Duties and Responsibilities: | Responsibilities include providing excellent patient care to general cardiology patients in the outpatient department. Inpatient rotations on the cardiology ward, CCU, and general cardiology consultation service are included. GW is a teaching hospital and the faculty work with residents, fellows, and medical students. |
| Minimum Qualifications: | Applicants must be board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and licensed in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment, with a demonstrable record of academic accomplishments such as scholarly activity and/or innovative teaching. |
| Advertised Salary: | Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. |
