The Employee Services Coordinator is the first point of contact for employees seeking assistance from Human Resources (HR). This position receives and responds to employee questions including inquiries about HR programs, guidance on how to engage in employee services, and troubleshoots use of HR systems. This position is an integral team member in processing updates to employee records in our HR Information Systems (HRIS) and providing support in the employee onboarding experience. The Employee Services Coordinator also provides some general administrative support in the HR department.

Responsibilities
    Provides customer service in response to HR inquiries. Stays up-to-date on the latest HR programs and initiatives in order to triage and provide responses to related inquiries. Forwards complex requests to appropriate specialty HR area.
  • Provides general technical support and guidance to employees in the use of HR systems. This includes how to access and use systems and engage in electronic work processes.
  • Processes employee actions in the HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) including entering new hires in the system and updating employee records.
  • Assists with transitioning paper employee records to the electronic filing system.
  • Supports the onboarding program, including tracking completion of employee paperwork (tax forms, I-9's, direct deposit, etc), providing administrative support, and coordination for the weekly orientation program (ensuring that supplies are available, on-site orientation meeting rooms are scheduled and room is set up, providing day-of event support).
  • Provides general administrative support in the HR department. Monitors the HR conference room, including the calendar, requests to use the space, and that the room is maintained. Submits requests for maintenance of equipment and/or supplies for the department's production room.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in HR and in a customer service/help desk environment are preferred
  • Proactive and self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented in ensuring work is completed accurately
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
