Job Description

As an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, University Relations and Early Career Talent, you will play a pivotal role attracting, engaging and hiring top-tier talent from universities and organizations committed to STEM Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. You will lead the end-to-end recruitment process from building relationships with universities and colleges to executing innovative recruitment strategies that identify and secure exceptional early career candidates. You will feel a great sense of reward and accomplishment through measurable contributions in students' lives. This position will partner with people managers, human resources business partners, and corporate functions to ensure that the company's recruiting programs improve visibility and result in high quality hires. This role is based in our Columbia, MD headquarters.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the college relations strategy and recruitment action plans for multiple universities with the goal to hire high quality candidates into our annual intern class and new grad rotational programs across functions.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across career centers, student clubs and HBCUs to grow our brand recognition & presence on campuses. Educate candidates about the nature of the roles offered by Grace and assist candidates in navigating opportunities.
  • Manage Grace's relationship with FOSSI and similar industry stakeholders.
  • Manage candidate development and experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle, maintaining records in the applicant tracking/recruitment system.
  • Coach managers and committees on the recruitment process, interview techniques, and selection criteria, aiding to remove bias from the recruitment process.
  • Manage sourcing strategy, candidate development and execution of full life cycle recruitment.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with and meet key business priorities and talent strategy.
  • Collaborate with talent management and business lines to plan and execute the annual intern and graduate rotational programs.
  • Use industry trends, market intelligence and internal data to make recommendations on improving talent practices.
  • Identify opportunities and work to improve the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process and practices.
  • Participate in recruiting and talent management related and additional HR projects/initiatives.
  • Ensure all requisition/candidate activity data is captured in the applicant tracking system.
Required Qualifications
  • B.S. degree and 5+ years in talent acquisition with a focus on university relations and early career recruiting.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective university recruitment strategies.
  • Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Success Factors or similar and MS Office suite.
  • Experience utilizing multiple candidate development tools, including social media, networking, referrals etc.
  • Strong drive for results and independent initiative must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic mindset with data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive and professional environment managing sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations that professionally represent Grace at campuses, conferences, and other early career talent forums.
  • Up to 25% travel is expected for this position with heightened travel during peak recruitment season (October - March).
