Overview

Amyx, Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time remote Cybersecurity Specialist, Lead with an IAM level III Cert and knowledgeable in Cloud Infrastructure, security architecture and standards to support our Defense Logistics Agency (DLA-DAI) client.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for collaborating at various levels of technical teams in the organization to assist in developing definitive guidance for Agency system owners to migrate operational systems to the cloud while maintaining or achieving Authority to Operate (ATO). Candidate should have a good understanding of Oracle, Linux, and Windows. The individual will serve as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), Lead and provide expertise in advanced cyber defense solutions and technology changes within the System Compliance Check (SSC). The Cybersecurity Specialist's primary job responsibilities will include:

    Provide technical research, analysis and reports on DAI's vulnerabilities, technical expertise on DLA risk management decisions and documentation requirements for DoD information systems.
  • Analyze trends, emerging technologies, and threats for potential impact on the DAI security architect and posture
  • Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) Control artifacts, such as the System Security Plan, Vulnerability Management Plan, the Database User Account Management SOP, Cybersecurity Strategy, and assist with DAI IT Operations Guide
  • Supply Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Lifecycle support thru the RMF process
  • Collect and address Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA)
  • Provide Cloud Infrastructure, security architecture and standards support
  • Develops RMF artifacts, such as the System Security Plan, Vulnerability Management SOP, and the Users Account Management SOP.
  • Understand and implement the guidance set forth by USCYBERCOM, DISA, NSA and DLA for Vulnerability and Penetration Testing
Qualifications
  • Fifteen (15) plus years of related experience Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Active Secret Clearance with IT Level 1 (IT-1)
  • Candidate will be required to obtain the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundation Associate Certification within 6 months of coming aboard
  • Must have at least one of the following IAM Level III Certification:
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
  • GIAC - Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC)
  • Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO)

Familiar with the following Supported Technologies, Security Regulation and Policies:

  • Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • MicroFocus Fortify (Static Code Review)
  • eMASS (System of Record Repository)
  • Dimension Serena (CM Configuration)
  • Account Management & Provisioning Systems (AMPS)
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Enterprise Security Posture System (ESPS)
  • Continuous Monitoring Risk Scoring (CMRS)
  • Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Splunk (SIEM system use of machine-generated data to get operational insights into threats, vulnerabilities, security technologies, and identity information)
  • Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS)- formerly HBSS
  • NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-172, NIST SP 800-34, NIST SP 800-37, DoD 8140 (Formerly 8570), FISMA, and PII,

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Twenty (20) plus years of related experience and an advance degree with one of the following Cloud Certifications:

  • Certified Cloud Security Professional
  • Cloud Computing Platforms (Oracle, AWS, Azure, or IBM)
  • Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundation Associate
