Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician Trainee to help with industrial repairs and maintenance throughout the facility in Manassas, VA.

Shift: Full-Time l Monday-Friday-1st Shift

Pay: Based on experience/qualifications

Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician Trainee works alongside fully qualified maintenance technicians to learn the skills of the trade. As a Facilities Maintenance Trainee your responsibilities are to assist with a variety of duties, including installing equipment, maintaining mechanical systems, and repairing machines and equipment. Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned to ensure minimal interruption to the operations of the facility.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Perform preventative maintenance to meet required regulations and scheduling
  • Learn and perform maintenance skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting on production and building equipment
  • Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
  • Maintain interior and exterior of property
  • Keep areas clean and organized, including cleaning dock levelers, dock bays, pressure washing building surfaces, cleaning HVAC systems (interior and exterior) maintaining a clean maintenance department
  • Monitor and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts inventory
  • Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks
  • Operate a forklift to assist in heavy lifting maintenance procedures and repairs
  • Any other duties as assigned
