Our intern program will run from June 4-August 9. We are working in a hybrid work model, three days per week in person at the office listed.

Who we are looking for:

As a Brand Strategy Intern at VML, you will work alongside our talented and diverse team of experts as we reimagine traditional planning for a more connected age. You will be responsible for supporting the development of brand strategies for a variety of clients across different industries. You will assist in researching key audiences, exploring category dynamics, and identifying cultural trends to fuel creative work.

What you'll do:

  • Conducting research on key audiences, competitors, and industry trends
  • Assisting in the development of brand strategies for a variety of clients
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns
  • Supporting the creation of presentations and reports for clients
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing ideas for creative concepts
  • Undertaking experiential research to understand the mindset and journey of key audiences
  • Visiting stores and conducting store audits to identify opportunities for clients

Who you are:

  • Passion and desire to pursue a career in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
  • Passionate about understanding people and cultural trends
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus
