The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is looking for a personable and friendly Bartender to join our team for the upcoming rooftop season. The ideal candidate delivers memorable moments and hospitality to our guests and comes with extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages in a courteous and timely manner. Other duties include taking orders, serving food and maintaining proper set up and cleanliness of the bar.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • 2 year(s) Bartending experience
  • Must possess or be able to posses TIPS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Must have proficient command of the English language.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Provide outstanding memorable customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods at time
  • Knowledgeable of credit card and cash handling procedures, as well as recording accurate tip-out sheets, and calculating accurate bill amounts.
