WGL - Specialist, Digital Trust Analyst

We believe that trust is the cornerstone of effective cybersecurity, and our Digital Trust team plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our services. As a Digital Trust Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic team. you'll contribute to our mission of building trustworthiness across our cybersecurity services. Your focus will be on data protection, but you'll also collaborate with colleagues across various Digital Trust domains.

You will:

  • Working across multiple Digital Trust capability areas - specifically vulnerability management, threat intelligence, security awareness and data protection.
  • Implementing processes and controls focused on securing our most important enterprise data, which includes:
  • Analyzing our current data handling practices and identifying vulnerabilities
  • Developing, customizing and configuring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and policies based on enterprise requirements
  • Creating data security policies, rules and procedures for monitoring, detecting and preventing data breaches
  • Collaborating with legal to ensure policies align with industry regulations.
  • Generate reports on DLP system(s) to measure risk, performance and incident metrics.
  • Provide advice on data security improvements and enhancements
  • Work with HR, Legal an Corporate Governance teams to report instances of insider risk & data loss.
  • Execution of scanning for vulnerabilities and coordination of remediation activities.
  • Reporting metrics to leadership regarding risk and remediation velocity
  • Reviewing threat intelligence reports from vendors and government agencies for applicability
  • Prioritizing intelligence content to drive risk remediation which may include working with Corporate Security to address Threat Actors with multiple capabilities.
  • Support the enterprise education and phish testing program
  • Generating on-demand articles to educate all employees/contractors about emerging threats


You have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline. preferred
  • 5+ Years of cybersecurity experience required
  • Ability to influence and problem-solve with your expertise and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Understands Risk & Controls, control gaps and action plans.
  • Knowledge of DLP security practices and regulatory compliance (SOX)
  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products DLP solutions.
  • Experience working with one or more vulnerability and security awareness platforms. Preferred experience with Qualys and KnowBe4.
  • Professional designation in Cyber, Risk, Control, and Governance (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.) would be an asset.
  • Experience in one or more DLP solutions (prefer Microsoft)
  • Advanced understanding of policy frameworks (NIST, ISO, ISF, and others) would be an asset.
  • Excellent client management skills, including interacting and communicating with business partners, consolidating requirements, translating them into cyber deliverables, and establishing KPIs and service levels to improve the client experience.
  • Relevant Cyber and Risk certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CISA)
