Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire and will be required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities for this PositionGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems is looking for a Advanced Electrical Engineer for our Progeny Business Area. You will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of submarine (VA Class, Columbia Class, and SSN(X)) acoustic systems and directly contribute to the technical success of our programs through hands-on technical contributions.
As an Advanced Electrical Engineer in the Progeny Business Area, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of submarine (VA Class, Columbia Class, and SSN(X)) acoustic systems. You will directly contribute to the technical success of our programs through hands-on technical contributions of an engineering team advancing the GDMS technical vision, building next generation system components, and fostering innovation. Candidates will have demonstrated recent, relevant technical contributions to previous sensor acoustic electronics.
