Position Overview:

As a Financial Advisor at Apple Federal Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with achieving their financial goals and securing their financial futures. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate members' financial needs, objectives, and goals.
  • Develop investment strategies tailored to individual members' financial circumstances.
  • Analyze client financial information, investment objectives, and market conditions to determine suitable investment options.
  • Schedule appointments with members based on reports provided by the VP, Apple Financial Services.
  • Conduct client meetings (in-person, video conference, or telephone) to collect financial information and review investment goals.
  • Advise members on the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products.
  • Perform periodic reviews of client accounts and update investment strategies as needed.
  • Stay updated on market conditions and investment vehicles through ongoing education and training.
  • Drive investment and program integration initiatives with the credit union, including branch employee training.
  • Support product launches and promote financial services through marketing activities and prospecting new clients.
  • Conduct client workshops/seminars on various financial topics to attract and retain potential clients.
  • Facilitate the purchase or sale of financial products and execute transactions according to sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers and represent the firm in relationships with clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to credit union policies and procedures, as well as regulations set forth by FINRA, SEC, and the broker/dealer.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule at designated branches during branch hours.

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CFP, CWS, ChFC, or CFA are a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, investment advisory, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Licenses and Registrations: FINRA Series 7, 63/65 (or 66) licenses along with Life, Accident & Health licenses.
  • Clean U-4 and Background.
