Job Description

Work Schedule:

Schedule will vary depending on needs of the division. Our per diem midwife on average may work approximately 1-5 shifts per month, all in the outpatient setting. The typical clinic day runs from approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to:

  • Provide care for a diverse community of women at several different clinics in our area, including a federally funded health care center.
  • Be part of a team who strives to provide outstanding patient- and family- centered care.
  • Provide clinic coverage on an as needed basis.

Education:

Minimum - Master's degree in Nurse Midwifery

Licenses and Certifications:

  • RN licenses in State of Wisconsin
  • Nurse Midwife license in State of Wisconsin
  • Advanced Practice Prescriber license in State of Wisconsin
  • Certification from the American College of Nurse Midwifery

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience preferred
