As a member of the Global Marketing team, the Social Media Specialist (Digital Assets) will help deliver and manage Franklin Templeton Digital Asset's social media strategy. We are looking for a social media strategist who lives and breathes digital assets (covering areas such as web3, blockchain, DeFi, cryptocurrency and more), with a strong community management background and top-notch relationship-building skills.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Social Media Specialist (Digital Assets)?
  • Manage the social media strategy and content calendar for Franklin Templeton Digital Assets

  • Transform complex concepts into easily digestible, engaging, eye-catching content designed specifically for social media

  • Inbound and outbound community management, including, but not limited to building and nurturing a community passionate about digital assets

  • Social listening to better understand digital assets landscape on the web

  • Conduct competitor analysis and monitor the online digital assets landscape

  • Stay abreast of social media trends and platform advances in order to ensure content is best in class

  • Support initiatives led by Social Media Managers and Employee Advocacy Program lead as needed

What ideal qualifications would help someone to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years developing social media content and managing online communities for a major brand in a corporate environment

  • Deep understanding of digital assets and the online communities that champion them

  • Develop copy and communications that will lead to optimal community engagement and impact

  • Proficient in graphic image creation for the web (Canva or similar)

  • Working knowledge of Sprout Social or similar SSM software

  • Ability to work independently; participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate the work of others

  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to show a portfolio of client work

Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between$65,000 - $80,000.
